At Ace Propeller, we source the best possible
propellers through extensive testing and it is our policy to do everything within reason, to ensure the complete
satisfaction of our customers. The following procedures and policies are important to achieving this goal.
Installation:
For stern drive and outboard propeller applications, you must use a thrust washer in front of the propeller. In most
cases, use the one that was previously on the shaft. Only the 4 blade Piranha propellers come with a thrust washer already
built in. Washers or nuts that need replacement can be obtained from your local marine dealer.
Sizing:
Unlike many propeller companies, when a customer is not certain of required prop size, we will try to help by offering
suggestions, based upon our broad experience. Because marine applications inherently require a ‘trial & error’ approach,
we cannot be accountable for sizing suggestions offered.
Exchanges:
Performance: If you have a concern with propeller ‘sizing’, keep in mind when testing, that a new propeller can
improve top speed, or time onto plane, or economy, but not all three and a new propeller does not add horsepower.
To help a Piranha customer who finds that the prop he purchased does not perform as well as his original, we go the extra distance by offering an exchange up to fifteen days from receipt of the propeller. Of course the conditions that apply for exchange are that the propeller must be clean (no carbon in the hub or blades) and in ?like new? condition. Since we only sell the best propeller products available, we know that our props will work as well as any.

Exchanges:
Defective Product: Should a customer encounter any problems with one of the propellers distributed by Ace that is
believed to be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, please call us at 1-866-799-7767. Warranties for products
distributed by Ace at Canada Propeller are those offered at the time by the propeller manufacturer in question and are
handled by the manufacturers directly.
Fast turn around:
If an exchange is required for reasons of performance or defect, we will minimize your down time by following a fast
turn around procedure at no extra cost whereby we send you a peel and stick return address envelope and step by step
instructions.
As with all propeller manufacturers, their warranty does not apply to:
- Labor, other than repair or replacement.
- Propellers that have had misuse or neglect.
- Grounding striking cavitation or corrosion.
- Shipping.
- Compensation for loss of use.Modified or repaired propellers.
- Any damage to boat, motor, or drive train.
